Our Certified Public Accountants and Staff
Thomas F. Morris, founder of the firm, has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1974. Over the years, he has gained a vast amount of experience. After obtaining a degree in Accounting and Systems from Point Park College, Tom worked in both a large regional accounting firm and a major international accounting firm before founding Morris, Paris, & Associates, Certified Public Accountants. Through these experiences, Tom has garnered a wealth of financial and accounting knowledge, knowledge he now passes on to his clients. In order to keep his skills current, he completes an average of forty hours of continuing professional education annually. He is also a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Robert “Tuck” Paris, Jr. has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1991 and a principal of our firm since 1997. Tuck holds both a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Fairmont State University and an Associate’s degree in Computer Technology from Potomac State College. While Tuck has a depth of experience in all areas of public accounting, his areas of expertise include financial statement preparation, income tax planning and return preparation, technology consultation, and business valuation. In addition, Tuck is also well-versed in the preparation of financial data for attorneys in litigation cases.
Anthony Lamia has been with the firm since 2004. Tony obtained a Bachelor’s in Accounting from Bethany College and became a Certified Public Accountant in 2008. He specializes in tax planning and return preparation for corporations, partnerships, trusts, individuals, and non-profit organizations. Tony also prepares financial statements and advises clients on bookkeeping issues. He is prepared to assist both businesses and individuals on any accounting related topic.
Brad Stander is our newest Certified Public Accountant. Brad graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2006 with a Bachelor’s in Accounting, and has been with Morris, Paris, & Associates since 2007. In 2012, he officially received his Certified Public Accountant license. While he is eager and able to help our clients in any area of accounting, Brad specializes in bookkeeping consultation, financial statement preparation, and tax return preparation for corporations, partnerships, individuals, and non-profit organizations.
Sarah Jones, EA rejoined the firm in 2012. Sarah graduated from Westminster College in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Sarah was previously a staff accountant with our firm from 2005 to 2006. Sarah worked in the tax department for a large regional firm in Pittsburgh from 2006 to 2012, and during her time there, she was promoted from Staff to Semi-Senior and then again to Senior Tax Accountant. Sarah specializes in the tax field of study, including tax planning and research, return preparation for corporations, partnerships, trusts, and individuals, and state and international compliances.
Nicole Dollman is Bookkeeping and Payroll Staff for Morris, Paris & Associates. Nicole holds a Bachelor’s degree in General Management with concentrations in Accounting and Human Resource. She started as an intern with the firm in 2011, and then was promoted to Bookkeeping and Payroll Staff after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh in spring 2013. Nicole’s duties include tax data entry, tax return assembly, QuickBooks data entry, reconciliations and cash disbursements for clients, and Quarterly Payroll Tax Returns. She also helps the firm with administrative and organizational duties.
Lisa Shipley has been working as part of the support staff at Morris, Paris, and Associates since 1998. In 1996, Lisa received an Associate’s in Accounting from the Community College of Allegheny County. As part of the support staff, she is a crucial member of our team. Lisa’s main duties include QuickBooks and tax return data entry, tax return and financial statement assembly, and maintenance of the client files. Lisa also helps our clients with their Quickbooks (or other accounting system) installations, setup, and maintenance.
Kristin Robbins is a Tax Accountant who joined our firm in 2016. Kristin graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Economics and Accounting. She has been active in her field since 1996, and before joining our firm, Kristin also worked for several companies as a Senior Tax Accountant and Analyst. Her duties at these companies have provided her with a wealth of experience in researching and resolving federal and state income tax issues, providing quarterly bookkeeping services for clients, and compiling and reviewing client financial statements for year-end tax preparation and planning.
